Original 1999 pressing. Limited Quantity from the initial and only run. This is the version that Necropolis records heard whilst Darren was on tour with Cradle of filth on the Canada and USA tour in 1999. The deal eventually fell through to sign a contract with the label in releasing Hymns to the Damned. In a couple of years to follow the label would meet its demise. It was decided that this first Demo / mini album would be self released.

To Run With Wolves To lie in wait for thee, coiled to rupture. Amidst the livid porcelain death, are children of sinister fire. To live and walk as one, to prise the nightmare, supreme, undone. Never feel remorse, to lurk in equilibrium. The beating of mortality rings, from sepulchre into ebony. The birth of Chaos unleashed, quickening to divinity. I adjust to the hunger that screams to be fed, luring, obscuring, the fiend within. We embrace – only one heart entwines, a crescendo. The warning runs with many sights of the fading cadaver, as the blackened life sweeps through my veins. Ensnaring – now dimming glow. The emotions stir, the ritual's end looms near, erupting, the piercing cries are snuffed. Roaring thunder now careers. As we below, invoke our kind to strike, until the blessed sacrament is denounced and putrefied. What tears will be born, that disrupt the heavens seas, when a life of dreams are shattered in slavery to 'He'. Ebony cured death in me, and thy dreaming spirit that so longed to be. From the tragic spell of emptiness, I shall never fall to my eve of slumber. Eternity swung the gates of time, for thy breath is forever thine. I walk with silence by my side, to burst your very heart in mine. The elegance of dawn, shall marble milky skies. Darkness corrupt – voluptuous disguise. Amorphous, lay veiled and voiceless, on the creeping, dismal lit horizon. Rise Dusk lay down your grace, smother raven cloak. The vision of an etching midnight, provokes. We will never be seen, the downtrodden paths, the secrets of nature, through the archways of our desolate world. Your eyes would burn for the merciless hurt. We will never be heard, your unspoken pleasures thrive in unbridled voice. But we are here, and we shall sweep the ghost in turn. The beating of mortality rings, from sepulchre into ebony. The birth of Chaos unleashed, quickening to divinity. I adjust to the hunger that screams to be fed, luring, obscuring, the fiend within. We embrace – only one heart entwines, a crescendo, to my rapture inside.

The Toll of Deepest Midnight I lay betrayed, fallen silent bewitched from fate. Thine emptiness that carried me... far from any heavens gate. You and your sights, such narrow visions of delight. Serenity... shall learn to hide the wounds of shame tonight. If we shall be, those who live as sin. Then our treachery, shall reach to sever thee. “Creed of dishonour, learn to live beneath” The touch of night, has brought me to my destiny. If I shall never live to see all light, then of decadence in breath, I shall seek thy mentor of torment. If we shall be, those who live as sin. Then our treachery, shall reach to sever thee. I have been born to... thee. In which to sever... thee. To heed the pulse of deepest midnight. When raging storms above, call down to invoke me. Amidst December wolves in winter's cold embracing voice this eve. Claws of true instinct unleashed, unhinging desires forbidden but for the beast. Our deepest midnight Amen

The Witching Hour Beckoning thunderstorms, cloud the light of the last day dawning. Chanting, the escaping flames enslave, and she has risen, Damnation roaring. Temptress luring as the dancing inferno, beneath the moon's incandescent drapes. Yearning for the secrets, the forest at nightfall, and in turn consume as one. I take her hand, and reap mortality, binding the whispers, to channel sorcery. And congeal the pace, of preying timely sands, dDancing with the shadows, in celestial command. Command Mystical eve, and she of raven craft, majestic in your prowess, and scarlet aftermath. Your enticing melodies, have wandered into my dreams. Evoking my spirit, now I am joined with thee. Baying wolves, nocturnal savagery, blazing emerald eyes, one thousand silent wings. These are the secrets, all seasons I have searched. The will to be, You are in my blood. Within enslavement to the flesh, I ventured – escaping mortal death. As we sought to seek the Devil's sleepers, to inspire – to animate eternal rest. I shall take as mine, wallowing, drenched in all I find. And the malevolent tearing that greets, shall wed you to your sleep. To strip you of all pride, as first born and innocence blind. From creator to creation, and the loss that bleeds for all time. The sickening overtures, the infernal pulse that spills so faint. Roses at the altar, and your fallacy of a 'god', slaughtered for the rape.
